First OOTD for 2012

This is my look for the new year's eve celebration (btw, spent with lovely friends over dinner). Elegant, sophisticated and in a low budget!

In fact, I was wearing dress and shoes from H&M, an embroided cardi from Promod. The strass necklace is from Primark, bracelet labeless, clutch Accessories. The coat is from Conbipel and scarf it's a present.

Do you like the cracked nails manicure? Gold and black, perfect for the festive days.
I have taken this picture wearing glasses which I use only when I work on the computer but I found it very fashionable and blogger-like, so here I am!

I wasn't sure to wear such delicate colours on New Year's eve but I like to follow my own rule when it comes to fashion style. The sparkling accessories added that festive touch anyway.

Questo é il mio look per l'ultimo dell'anno (trascorso a cena con amici carissimi).
Elegante, sofisticato ed economico!

Difatti, vestito e scarpe sono di H&M, il cardigan lavorato di Promod. La collana di pietre di Primark, il bracciale di nessuna marca e la borsetta di Accessories. Il cappotto é di Conbipel e la sciarpa é un regalo.

Vi piace la manicure effetto screpolato? Oro e nero, perfetto per le festività.
Qui mi sono fotografata con gli occhiali che però porto solo per lavorare al computer, ma siccome sono molto alla moda e blogger-style, eccone la mia versione.

Non ero molto convinta di indossare questi colori per la sera di Capodanno ma ho deciso di seguire le mie regole di moda. Gli accessori di brillantini aggiungono comunque un tocco festivo.

I will be off for a few days, staying with my family and closest friends.

Per un po' di giorni rimarrò lontana dal blog perchè sarò assieme alla famiglia e gli amici più cari.

Moda da bere and EmmaT

Well, well, what's better then meeting some (new) friends over books, jewellery and clothes? this is how I spent a lovely afternoon in Milan during Xmas time.

I got my eyes on some nice bracelets from Annacino Design not to mention that iPhone super cool cover from LittleBlackDress (mh, I have to buy the phone now...).

It was a nice surprise to met Greta Tee and he fab t-shirts, all hand painted and personalised with those statements fashion pieces.

My lovely friend, the Image Consultant Fashionista gave me some tips on my look and her future projects (stay tuned!).

what I love the most was the reading from Emma Travet a cool new writer which is writing her second book trying to get into Vanity Fair's team!! I am sure you'll make it babe!!

Beh, cosa c'è di meglio di incontrare alcune (nuove) amiche tra libri, gioielli e visti? eh si, ho trascorso così un frenetico pomeriggio milanese travolta dallo shopping natalizio.

Mi sono innamorata dei braccialetti di Annacino Design per non parlare della stupenda cover dell'iPhone di LittleBlackDress (mh, mi manca il telefono adesso...).

E sono stata molto entusiasta di incontrare Greta Tee che dipinge a mano e personalizza t-shirts con soggetti trendy e di moda.

La mia carissima Fashionista mi ha dato qualche consiglio di stile o mi ha accennato ai suoi progetti futuri (vi darò presto delle anteprime!).

Ma il momento che mi é piaciuto di più é stato quando l'autrice Emma Travet, una giovane e talentuosa scrittrice ha letto alcuni passi della sua avventura alla ricerca di un posto nella redazione di Vanity fair. Tesoro, prima o poi ce la farai!!

Announcement: The Professional Serie to be launch

Working on the fashion and beauty amazing world, I have the opportunity to meet fantastic people that works in the industry.
People incredibly dedicated to their work that work for them is pure passion and a way of life.

I am happy to announce that every two weeks I will be publishing an interview from each of them; to learn about their business, their ups and downs, get some insight and juicy gossip (yes, I will be a bit bitchy with them!!!).

I am glad to anticipate that I will interview models, photographers, personal shoppers, image consultants, journalists and many others.

Moda da Bere & Gossip Emmat

Trovarsi a Milano in questi giorni vuol dire non perdersi l’appuntamento con Moda da Bere, un temporary shop, aperto per una settimana soltanto, dedicato allo stile, alla moda, al design, al gusto tutto Italiano. Non vedo l’ora di incontrare Alessia di LittleBlackDress – {vi ricordate la sua gonna a pieghe verde smeraldo?}

Il vernissage inaugurale con ospiti, addetti del settore, blogger e simpatici curiosi, è giovedì 15 dicembre dalle 18.30.

L’appuntamento più cool della settimana sarà il reading letterario “Gossip Emmat” con Emma Travet Sabato 17 dicembre dalle 17 alle 19.30.

Naturalmente sarò lì per avere le ultime anticipazioni sul prossimo libro di Emma [ve lo ricordate “Voglio scrivere per Vanity Fair”?] e per incontrare la splendida Giuseppina che ha curato questo appuntamento. Ci vediamo lì!

For one week only [15 December to 21 December 2011 – 10.00AM to 7.00PM, via Manzoni 39] you can shop unique Italian brands {I can wait to meet Alessia designer behind LittleBlackDress – do you remember her pleated emerald green skirt?}.

Bloggers, fashionistas and everyone interested are invited at the opening on Thursday 15 December from 6.30PM.

The coolest event in the event is “Gossip Emmat” the reading with Emma Travet on Saturday 17 Dec from 5.00PM to 7.30PM.
Of course I’ll be there to get the latest news on Emma’s next book [do you remember “Voglio scrivere per Vanity Fair”?] and to meet lovely Giuseppina who styled this event. I’ll see you there!

VFNO back in September

It happen when you are busy the you forget things [read: I am getting older and my memory is not at its best. sigh.].

This is why I am publishing the picture of the Vogue Fashion Night Out now (the event was held in September).
I've never saw Milan that crowded, even for Xmas shopping or the sales season!


Succede quando sei tanto impegnata che ti dimentichi le cose [leggi: sto invecchiando e la memoria non sempre mi assiste. aihmè.].

Questo é il motivo per il quale pubblico solo adesso le foto della Vogue Fashion Night Out che si è svolta a Settembre-
Non ho mai visto Milano così piena di gente, nemmeno per lo shopping natalizio o i saldi!

Press day La Redoute

I have been invited to the La Redoute Press Day and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a brand I’ve found out about a year ago during a fashion show. I bought quite a few clothes and I have been gifted more from the company.

Thanks to the size availability and affordable prices, I have happily push the boundaries of my style trying something new like sequins by day, the red colour (which I am not comfortable wearing), patterns, and more.



Next Spring collection is a real turn on! Give me a credit card! Thanks to always different collaborations, the basic line is enriched by side collections with different style, signatures and fittings. We are going to wear more colour blocking and I couldn’t be happier as I do not love dark colours. Touches from the 60s, ethnic style and very feminine garments. There is going to be a capsule collection of wedding dresses of which I am going to tell you more soon.







After browsing the collections, I couldn’t help but fill a quite long wish list. Maybe I can ask Santa to come visiting in March?

Sono stata invitata al Press day de La Redoute e che gioia! E’ un marchio conosciuto un anno fa tramite una loro sfilata. Ho comprato da loro diversi vestiti e l’azienda mi ha anche fatto omaggio di alcuni.

Grazie alla disponibilità di taglie, l’ampia scelta e i prezzi abbordabili, ho potuto ‘felicemente’ osare con capi fuori dal mio solito stile come le paillettes di giorno, vestendo rosso (colore con il quale non mi sento a mio agio), fantasie e altro ancora.

La prossima Primavera é rappresentata da capi favolosi! Passatemi la mia carta di credito per favore! Grazie alle interessanti collaborazioni, la linea base é arricchita da ulteriori collezioni diverse in stile, impronta e vestibilità.

Indosseremo ancora colori forti e brillanti e questo fa di me una persona felice visto che non amo i colori scuri. Ancora, linee anni 60, un tocco etnico, e tanta, tanta femminilità. Vi annuncio che ci sarà anche una mini collezione di abiti da sposa di cui vi parlerò nel dettaglio più avanti.



Dopo aver visionato la collezione, non ho potuto fare a meno di compilare una lunga lista dei desideri. Magari chiederò a Babbo Natale di farmi una visitina a Marzo??

Let's talk about boots

It’s too cold for stilettos and the perfect time to wear boots.
I own many, different shape, different colour, with heels, flat, linear or decorated.
My favourite pair of boots are completely “out of trend”, pretty old, not that comfy anymore but has an extraordinary style that make it unique (pictures soon).
Do you wear boots? Which one do you prefer?


É decisamente troppo freddo per le décollete e quindi il momento giusto per gli stivali.
Ne ho diverse paia, di forme e colori differenti, con e senza tacchi, lisci e lineari o con decorazioni.
Ma il mio paio preferito é decisamente fuori moda, vecchio, non più tanto comodo ma ha uno stile originale che lo rende unico (a presto le foto).
