Mine!

Still in the house hunting process (too picky or just taking the mission too slow?)

Looking for furnishing inspirations.

I can definitely see myself sitting in this lovely corner with my sleeping baby on the cheast
and a good book on my hand...

I am currently devouring 'The Rosie Project' by Graeme Simson

A creative corner

Saturday, 26 July 2014

We are still house hunting. There's something funny that happens to me everytime we go and see a new place....
I guess every woman will first look at the kitchen  and the size of the master bedroom (maybe a walk-in wardrobe can be included?).
As for me, my first thought is the small room to set up my home office!
Yes, I am lucky enough to have this benefit at work.
But my space will not only for work only, I'd liek to find off a place were I can also paint, sew, blog.
A magic corner were I can let my creativity running wild!!!

do you have any interesting interior design blog to give me for inspiration to build my own corner??

Decor idea

Tuesday, 1 July 2014

Something I tend to buy on my trips abroad are materials:
silk, cotton, painted, quilted wool which I love to turn into decor ideas for my house.
Like in this picture, I've wrap 5 simple frames of different sizes.
I know, these looks paintings.
Nop!
This is just cotton.

A place for two.

Sunday, 2 March 2014

We are house hunting and I cannot help but dreaming to find the perfect, cosy,
adorable home for us.

I am dreaming of a work room for myself only, with a desk for my papers and pc
[I am lucky to do home office], and another big desk for my DIY, sewing, painting and decorating works. Oh, and I want a HUGE book shelf storagas I have plenty of books
[now stuffed in every corner of the house].
Main room colour? White

Like the room in this picture. With big windows to welcome the sun and keep on dreaming...

One of my biggest dream is to own a big, comfortable, spacious and bright house. Lots of white, simple furniture pieces and much space for love and joy.

I had the honor and pleasure of attending the exclusive CasaFacile’s birthday party! The magazine just turned 15.
CasaFacile is an interior design and DIY magazine packed with ideas for home decorating, tips and tricks to make the house and our life a beautiful and functional place to live in. CasaFacile is not only a magazine for creative people, also the perfect 'place' to find inspiration and ideas to create something by hands.

The event was held at the beautiful Fiat Executive Lounge in Milan. We had an amazing time with cocktails, chit-chatting, meeting wonderful people who were perfect strangers and then become best friends. Many have been the pictures taken and good laugh were always available on the menu. Dress code: black and white! (and as I know me, I have chosen white!)

I am very busy these days (more news soon) but I’ve managed to squeeze a short visit to Milan for Design Week. Great spots, cool people, a blooming of creativity and events. I couldn’t miss it.

From vintage aperitivi, to the latest wallpaper, a whirlwind of exciting home decorations and incredible (eco, bio, old fashion, metallic, linear) furniture.

My father is in the industry and I growth with passion for interior design. My little home is a collection of great findings collected throught the years as well as (precious) pieces made by dad.

Such events are the perfect time to meet up with blogger’s friends such as Anna, which has a fabulous job at a Dutch Design Academy.

Annotazioni Creative

Designer bakery

Friday, 3 February 2012

Do you remember one of my craziest and most seen posts about designer water?
Here is the second episode:

Designer bakeries

I think there is nothing more satisfying than warm, freshly baked bread with my cup of coffee or tea in the morning.
To me, there isn’t anything else more comforting and familiar than a soft, mouth-watering loaf of bread.
Italy is a well known place for nice quality bread and anything can be missing in a meal but the bread.
Bakeries are everywhere and funny thing, we are experiencing the rise of cool designer bakeries.
No longer do we just enjoy the taste of our baked goods, but we now are invited to also visually feast our eyes at many new bakeries.
Here are some examples of brand new bakeries in Italy and Europe:

My lovely friend Anna (check her blog here) invited me to attend the amazing exhibition of D.A.E. Design Academy Ehindoven (Holland) during Milan Design week.
All projects have been designed by students she follows as Master Coordinator.

Something from the past

Wednesday, 27 October 2010

Did I ever tell you that I used to be a graphic designer and illustrator?
A work that I ABSOLUTELY adored and that was all my life.

I worked for many companies and people doing almost any kind of stuff!

A collaboration with Benetton and Diesel introduced me to the world of fashion. And many male friends get me to decorate their motorbike, helmets and cars.

I made art pieces for friends instead of buying them present and it was always a success to give them something handmade from me!

here is a little selection of some of my works:

the quality of the pictures are poor as I had to scan very old pictures.

watercolour

collage

acrylics on wood board

airbrush on motorbyke helmet

Do you like any of them?
