Milan on the New York Times

Wednesday, 12 January 2011

On January 7th the New York Times released an article on the 41 places to visit in this current year.
Milan was one of each, the fifth place on the list.

Every local news talked about it.

Seeing as the capital of fashion, Milan can offer much, much more.
From well recognised universities to art galleries, from exceptional restaurants to theatres with unique plays.
Of course, fashion is an important and vital resource for the city. Not only for the countless clothes shops and boutiques, but for the more than 1.500 companies that works in textiles, accessories and shoes manufacturing.
Until last year, Milan was the European business capital of fashion per number of fashione related factories in it province.

For more information, please visit the ‘Camera della moda’ web site.

For those who are familiar with my blog, you know that I live quite close to Milan and I often go to shopping trips, trendy ‘aperitivi’, concerts and events of any kind.
So, if you plan to come this very year, just drop me an email and I’ll show you around!
