Meeting day 1

Do you remember I was in Dusseldorf for a couple of days last week? I was there to attend a strategic meeting. This was the look for day 1: comfy, smart, simple yet trendy. Boots were needed as I left home at 5.00am and it was pretty cold...not to mention I was going north.


Vi ricordate che la settimana scorsa sono andata due giorni a Dusseldorf? Dovevo partecipare ad un importante meeting. Questo é look del primo giorno: confortevole, elegante, semplice ma trendy. Gli stivali erano d'obbligo visto che sono uscita di casa alle 5 del mattino, per non dire che la mia destinazione era nord.

Sporty chic for today’s look. A light blue shirt should be in every woman’s closet (as a white one).

I adore my new short sleeve cardigan – because it’s not that cold yet. And this dark blue skirt is so versatile!

I am wearing it with heels but I also have a pair of brown boots that would match perfectly.



Un look sportivo-elegante oggi. Una camicetta azzurra che non dovrebbe mai mancare nell’armadio di una donna (così come una bianca).

Adoro il mio nuovo cardigan a mezze maniche – perché non é poi così freddo – almeno ora. A la gonna blu é decisamente versatile.

Cintura marrone con dettagli dorati.

Indosso i tacchi ma potrei anche mettere un paio di stivali marroni che calzerebbero alla perfezione.

Neutral tones

Playing safe with neutral colors. But the result is not that bad, what do you think?
I am wearing my beloved neutral blazer and a fantastic striped shirt bought in Prague. Then, my first and only pair of skinny jeans with stud and diamantè details on the pocket. Do you like the shoes? I bought it for a wedding but its too nice to wear it only on special occasions. A touch of sparkle is add by the necklace. Last but not least, my favourite handbag.

Colori neutri = no stress. Ma il risultato non é male, che ne pensate? Indosso una delle mia giacche preferite dal color sabbia e una camicetta a righe acquistata a Praga. Quindi il mio primo paio di jeans attillati con borchie e diamantini applicati sulle tasche. Vi piacciono le scarpe? Le ho comprate per andare ad un matrimonio ma sono troppo belle per indossarle solo nelle occasioni speciali. Un tocco di luce é dato dalla collana vistosa. Ultima, la mia borsa preferita.

OOTD: red trousers

The weather is getting a bit chilli. Blazer and trousers are my favourite choice in this transitions days: too hot for tights, not so cold for wool and boots. Still time for a splash of colour!
How did you transition your wardrobe from Summer to Fall?

E' arrivato il frescolino. Giacchine e pantaloni sono i capi che preferisco in questi giorni di transizione: troppo caldo per i collant, non così freddo per lana e stivali. Ma é ancora tempo per i colori!
E voi come vi vestite in queste giornate di transizione?

The weight that counts

Reflex camera, wallet, notebook, pen, cosmetics, sunglasses, 2 mobile phones, bubble gum. And then magazines, papers, invitations, printed e-mails, all collected during the day.
Is this an inventory? Nop, it's the content of my bag during Milan Fashion Week.
Not sure how many kilos I carried but at the end of the day my shoulders and neck were hurting.
I cannot drag around a trolley, so, the backpack came to my mind! But talking about it with some friends, they have all got crazy (not in a nice way).
Well, a cute and stylish one is not that bad I think. Maybe I can launch a new trend? I saw some celebrities using it!
The right shape, colour and size can be perfect to carry all your stuff around. What do you think?


Macchina fotografica, portafoglio, blocco note, penna, cosmetici, occhiali da sole, 2 telefoni cellulari, gomme da masticare. E poi riviste, giornali, inviti, e-mail stampate, tutti raccolti durante la giornata.
Si tratta di un inventario? No, è il contenuto della mia borsa durante la settimana della moda di Milano.
Non so quanti chili mi sono portata in giro per le sfilate, e alla fine della giornata le spalle e il collo ne hanno risentito.
Uhm, potrei trascinarmi dietro un trolley, ma poi mi é venuto in mente lo zaino! Sì! Lo zainetto! Ma parlando con alcune amiche, hanno tutte bocciato l'idea (diciamo pure che mi hanno dato della pazza...).
Beh, uno carino ed elegante non è poi così male. Magari lancio una nuova tendenza?! Sbirciando qua e là, noto che anche i famosi li usano.
Nella giusta forma, colore e dimensione non é poi così male per portarmi in giro tutte le mie cose no? Voi cosa ne pensate?

Get inspired by...people!

Events, fashion shows, exhibitions, meetings. This is the busy calendar of the fashion week here in Milan. Can be exhausting, your feets hurt, long hours talking and rushing everywhere.
But what makes each day the most memorable are PEOPLE. People you meet, friends, other bloggers, fashionistas and soul mates.
I met many of them, each of the one represent something special to me:
Sacramento and her daughter Rebecca: I am sure many of them know Sacramento for her blog Mis Papelicos. They are both incredibly nice, funny, down-to-earth, with a strong and unique sense of fashion. I love them both!
Alessia: I have mentioned her so many times for her slogan tee. Designer, trend setter, she has just announced her collaboration with Styligion as a cool hunter.
Nicole: the fantastic blogger behind Gary Pepper Vintage. I am always inspired by her pictures and her sense of style. She is also extremely cute and super feminine.
Last, actress Laura Torrisi. Right now I cannot tell you why I have mention her....more news soon.


Eventi, sfilate di moda, mostre, incontri. Questo è il fitto calendario della settimana della moda qui a Milano. Giornate faticose, i piedini che fanno male, lunghe ore a parlare e correre qua e là per la città.
Ma ciò che rende ogni momento memorabile sono le PERSONE. Persone che si incontrano casualmente, amici, altre blogger e fashioniste.
Ho incontrato molte di loro, ognuna che rappresenta qualcosa di speciale per me:
Sacramento e la figlia Rebecca: sono sicura che molti di loro conoscono Sacramento e il suo blog Mis Papelicos. Sono entrambe incredibilmente belle, divertenti, unili, con un forte senso dello stile e della moda. Le adoro entrambe!
Alessia: l'ho nominata tante volte per le sue slogan t-shirt. Ha appena annunciato la sua collaborazione con Styligion come cool hunter!
Nicole: la fantastica blogger dietro Gary Pepper Vintage. Traggo molta ispirazione dalle sue immagini e dal suo senso per lo stile. E' anche molto carina e femminile.
Infine, l'attrice Laura Torrisi. In questo momento non posso dirvi perché la stimo molto....presto delle news

forme SS13 - Elena Mirò and Vogue party

Sono arrivata al flagship store di Elena Mirò, in via Dante a Milano, dove ormai sono di casa (ricordate la prima volta che ci sono stata?).
Il negozio é così pieno che a mala pena riesco ad entrarvici. Un drink veloce, agguanto un biscottino (altrimenti svengo) e torno fuori. Anche le modelle Tanja, Ajia e Olessia hanno avuto la mia stessa idea e non vi dico le persone che si fermano a vederci!

I am at the Elena Mirò flagship store, on via Dante in Milan where now are i feel like at home (do you remember the first time I've been there?).
The shop is crowded and I can barely get in. I grab a drink and cookie (I am aboout to faint) and get out. Even the models Tanja, Ajia and Olessia have had the same idea and I cannot tell you how many people stopped by to see us!

For.me é davvero un progetto avvincente e glamour. Sono orgogliosa di aver fatto parte del lancio, di aver documentato il grande lavoro che c'è dietro la preparazione di una sfilata. Ho incontrato tante splendide persone e gioito di ogni singolo momento di questa fantastica giornata. Chiudo questo racconto e presto un post con uno dei pezzi della nuova collezione for.me indossato.....da ME!

With me, other curvy Italian bloggers. Back again Laura Torrisi, Franca Sozzani, journalists and celebrities eveywhere. Last but not least, a mini concert by the fantastic Nina Zilli.

For.me is a such an exciting project. I am so proud to have been part of its launch and I am even more proud to report every moment of the great work behind the scene of the fashion show. I met so many wonderful people and enjoyed every single moment of this wonderful long day. My reports of the fashion show ends here but soon a post with one of the pieces from the new for.me collection worn by ..... ME!

Ecco, si chiudono i tendoni neri e la frenesia non si placa.
Dietro le quinte si accalcano giornalisti, amici, bloggers e perfino le famiglie di alcune modelle!

Le modelle cominciano a svestirsi, sciolgono le acconciature, cercano le loro scarpe.
Poi baci, foto, la tensione si allenta. C'é un ricco buffet e certo, anche le modelle mangiano e bevono! (ma le avete viste così graziose e in salute?)

Io continuo a scattare, le emozioni si accavallano, di nuovo ecco Laura Torrisi, bellissima, e Nina Zilli, affascinante.

La pioggia ha smesso di cadere (bene, posso tenere i tacchi), saluto quelle che dopo tanti appuntamenti sono diventate le mie amiche, oltre che modelle (Olessia, Tanja, Valentina, Ajia...).

Sono felicissima, emozionata e gioiosa come non mai per aver vissuto in pieno questa esperienza.
Ma l'avventura non é ancora finita, ora mi aspetta un cocktail party nel flagshiop store di di via Dante...nel prossimo post!

Here we are, the black tents are closing the fuss is not subsiding.
Behind the scenes a jostle of journalists, friends, bloggers and even the models families'!

The models begin to undress, shed their hairstyles, are looking for their shoes.
Then its kisses, photos as the tension is been released. Over the corner there is a buffet and the models are eating and drinking! yes, they do (have you seen how healthy they look?)

I keep on shooting in a whirlwind of emotions. Laura Torrisi is here again, she is so beautiful, and Nina Zilli, fascinating woman!

The rain has finally stopped (well, I can keep my heels on). I greet everyone and those who, after many fashionswhows I have attend, have become friends (models Olessia, Tanja, Valentina, Ajia ...).

I am so happy, excited, over the moon for being so lucky to live this experience in full.
But my adventure is not over yet, now I am attending the cocktail party in Elena Mirò's flagship store in Via Dante ... in the next post!
