We are still house hunting. There's something funny that happens to me everytime we go and see a new place....

I guess every woman will first look at the kitchen  and the size of the master bedroom (maybe a walk-in wardrobe can be included?).

As for me, my first thought is the small room to set up my home office!

Yes, I am lucky enough to have this benefit at work.

But my space will not only for work only, I'd liek to find off a place were I can also paint, sew, blog.

A magic corner were I can let my creativity running wild!!!

Something I tend to buy on my trips abroad are materials:

silk, cotton, painted, quilted wool which I love to turn into decor ideas for my house.

I like to think of plants and flowers as the final accessories in a room.
As much as I love greenery, I love fresh flowers even more.

They just make me happy.

One of my dreams is to have fresh flowers in my home all year round, but I haven't accomplished that goal, just yet. But in the Spring and Summertime, when blooms are abundant, I get to live the dream.

We are house hunting and I cannot help but dreaming to find the perfect, cosy,

adorable home for us.

 

I am dreaming of a work room for myself only, with a desk for my papers and pc

[I am lucky to do home office], and another big desk for my DIY, sewing, painting and decorating works. Oh, and I want a HUGE book shelf storagas I have plenty of books

[now stuffed in every corner of the house].

Declutter = happiness

I like my house to be neat and tidy, things in its own place and a fresh smell of...cleaness.

But I've realised that with my busy life and with my wedding this Summer, I still have piles of wedding presents in every corner, some stationary becoming permanent resident on my desk and shelves covered with ...stuff.

That's not me.

I am not very sentimental when it come to objects, I am not a junkie, yet I quite enjoy decluttering and getting rid of stuff.

A tidy house, with basic yet practical things, gives me a piece of mind, happiness and joy.
I love a bright room, just a few pieces of fornitures, basically, the essencial for living.

It may be because my house is not that big so I need not to be overwhelmed of memories and unuseful pieces.

One of my biggest dream is to own a big, comfortable, spacious and bright house. Lots of white, simple furniture pieces and much space for love and joy.
