Pardon my hair. Sometimes I just forget to style them and this is the result, witches-look-a-like!

A friend of mine asked if I was wearing all these tones of blue in honor of my son (yes! We are having a boy!).

Just a coincidence!

His comment

Never underestimate a comment from a man on the way you dress.
He may not be most stilish person you know but he may be telling you some horrible truth or at least speak for that multitude of men out there.

Do you care anyway?

I accept any input and feedback as no comment is stupid...
But I have to admit that I would better accept it if the source, or better, the man making this statement should at least have some good taste, a basic knowledges of style (or at least colour and style matching) and not be a kind of freak.

Tra il viaggio di lavoro a Barcellona e un weekend ricco e denso di impegni, sono riuscita a scattare velocemente queste foto del mio look di Sabato. Sportiva, alla moda e avvolta da questo soprabito di scamosciato che era di mia nonna. Il pezzo più prezioso nel mio guardaroba. Vi ricordate che l'ho indossato anche alla MFW?

the must have piece of the season: the Cape

A couple of weeks ago I met lovely blogger Fashionista in her city, Turin.
She is a personal shopper and image consultant which also works for exclusive and independent fashion shops. Orfane 30 is one them offering taylor made, amazing quality pieces.

I could not help but trying on the season must have: the CAPE. This one in the pictures comes in a few different colours and I tried the pink and the green ones. Pink is one my favourite colour but I have to admit, the green one is to die for (and it better suits me!).
As I am not that slim, I would imagine to look like a big rounded ball, instead, it flattered my figure, added a chic touch to my outfit and yes, I felt like a diva!

Un paio di settimane fa ho incontrato la stupenda blogger Fashionista nella sua città, Torino.

Giuseppina é una personal shopper e una consulente di immagine che collabora anche con alcuni selezionatissimi ed esclusivi negozi della città. Ed é proprio in uno di questi, Orfane 30, dove abbiamo fatto un giretto, un negozio che offre capi su misura, realizzati artigianalmente di grande qualità e manifattura.

Non ho potuto resistere alla tentazione di provare il pezzo forte della stagione: la CAPPA. Questa della foto é disponibile in diversi colori ma io ho provato la rosa e la verde. Il rosa é uno dei miei colori preferiti ma devo ammettere che la cappa verde é decisamente più bella (e mi dona di più!).

Essendo rotondetta, non ho mai pensato alla cappa perché pensavo mi facesse ancora più tonda; invece, con mia grande sorpresa, mi sfila e mi slancia, é chic e mi fa sentire una vera diva!


E voi, indossate la cappa? Pensate sia adatta a donne di tutte le forme?

OOTD: the white trousers

Summer should be over but here in Italy temperatures are still surprisingly high. But it won’t last forever.

One item that means ‘Summer’ to me are white trousers.
I love them because versatile, you can either wear in a sporty or more elegant way.

Here I am wear the white trousers with blue wedges, a colorful top, and my favourite blazer (also wear here).


L’estate é ormai un ricordo ma le temperature sono ancora incredibilmente alte in questi giorni. Ma non durerà per molto ancora.

Un capo che per me rappresenta l’estate sono i pantaloni bianchi. Mi piacciono perché sono molto versatili e ci puoi creare look sportivi o più eleganti.

Qui li indosso con le zeppe blu di jeans, una maglietta colorata e la mia giacchina preferita (indossata anche qui).

One of my LBD

I own three or four little black dresses of different shapes and materials. I love this one because the material is fluid and high those little imperfection like belly or bum. I have simply accessorised with an H&M belt, sandals are from C&A, and some white gold jewelers. But I am not quite sure about the hair….what do you think?


Ho 3 o 4 vestiti neri di diverso taglio e tessuto. Questo mi piace particolarmente perché il tessuto scivola dolcemente sul corpo e non evidenzia pancetta e sederone. Ho aggiunto un tocco glam con la cintura H&M, sandali di C&A e gioielli in oro bianco. Ma non sono convinta della pettinatura...che ne pensate?

OOTD: sightseeing with glam

Even if I have to walk for km, I HAVE to wear heels! But because of my ehm, weight, stiletto are definitely forbidden!
I need something bold and strong that can carry my weight. These wedges are fabulous and comfortable.

Here I am in Lucca (Tuscany) during the weekend break for my friend’s wedding (stay tuned for a dedicated post!)

Anche se devo camminare per chilometri, non riesco a rinunciare ai tacchi! Ma per via del mio ‘dolce peso’, non posso permettermi tacchi a stilletto o troppo alti e fini.
Ho bisogno di un tacco solido e robusto che mi sostenga. Queste zeppe sono la soluzione perfetta, belle e comode.

Qui sono a Lucca durante un fine settimana per il matrimonio di un’amica (un intero post dedicato al matrimonio nei prossimi giorni!)
