OOTD: my most coloured self

The most challenging style revolution I am undergoing is adding some bold colours to my closet (and actually wear them). I tend to wear neautral shades or those colour I can play ‘safely’ with.

But at some point I said to myself: “’Cmon! You are a woman, you are allow push the boundaries of your style, aren’t you missing some fun?”.

Well, yes, FUN, here it what is it. In fact, playing with colours is funny. Wearing them make me feel immediately happy.

This is an outfit for my casual Friday at work.

I am wearing a simple tee, pencil skirt by NY & Co., killer heels by La Redoute, 2 gum watches (Freya and Primark), H&M gold cuff, a labeless small clutch and one of my favourite necklace from Real Divas are Large.

What’s your approach to bold colours?




La più grande sfida tra me e il mio guardaroba é senz’altro l’aggiungere dei colori forti nell’armadio (e naturalmente indossarli). Tendo a vestire con colori neutri o pacati.

Ma ad un certo punto mi sono detta: ”ma dai! Sei una donna, spingi più in là i i confini del tuo stile, non ti va di giocare un po’?”.

Beh, si, divertirmi, ecco, appunto. Infatti questa é la sensazione che mi pervade quando gioco con i colori. Infatti, indossarli mi mettere allegria e gioia.

Questo é un completo usato di venerdi, quando tutti siamo meno formali in ufficio.
Indosso una semplice maglietta, una gonna tubino di NY & Co., sandali di La Redoute, 2 orologi di gomma a contrasto (Freya e Primark), bracciale H&M, una piccola borsetta e una delle mie collane preferite di Real Divas are Large.

ELLA - glacial glamour

Do you remember my post back in February about Iceland Fashion Week? One of the brands I loved the most was ELLA.

You are well aware of my love for dresses and this one of the reason I fell for Ella’s Summer collection. The shape, the soft tones, the allure of these dresses is every woman dream to feel beautiful and feminine.

OOTD: peplum, the curvy way

I am following the peplum trend with this piece from Primark bought during my trip to Barcellona. I am glad to find out the peplum style fits nicely slim and curvy women either.

Here I am wearing it for a day at the office with a pencil skirt (Conbipel), heels (Soprani), gold braceley (H&M) and an old, limited edition (and very precious) crono-watch by Bulova.

Sto seguendo il trend peplum con questo capo di Primark acquistato durante il mio viaggio e Barcellona. Sono felice di poter confermare che la linea di questo capo é perfetta sia per donne magre che più floride.

Qui lo indosso per una giornata in ufficio con una gonna al ginocchio (Conbipel), tacchi (Soprani), braccialetto dorato (H&M) e un vecchio orologio crono, serie limitata e molto prestigioso di Bulova.

Sea breeze

I am in Portofino, chilling by the pool. I am drinking a Margarita and a lounge music is playing on the background. David Gandy is walking toward me, a sunlotion in his hand, he ventures softly on my shoulder and....

OMG! I am dreaming! ehm, right...let's see...it's late evening and I am catching up with some email when I've found myself commpletely taken by these amazing pictures of the Elena Mirò Summer 2012 collection.

I definitely see myself wearing each piece of the collection, during a weekend getaway with my partner (actually, not David Gandy. Unfortunately.). I am sure I will look sophisticated, stylish and super glamourous. Day to night, by the pool or at a sunset cocktail party.

I am feeling like a goddess, a diva of the like of Sophia Loren, wrapped in one of these curves enhancer dresses, ready to be caught by the paparazzi...

Dresses, always my favourite and my first choice when it comes to dress up and looking fantastic. Prints.,bold colours, fresh cotton and smooth shapes.

Sono a Portofino, rilassata a bordo piscina. Sto bevendo un Margarita e una musica lounge suona in sottofondo. David Gandy sta venendo verso di me, con la crema solare in mano, si avvicina dolcemente alla mia spalla e ....

Oh mamma! Sto sognando! ehm, no, accidenti ... è tarda notte e sto leggendo delle email quando mi sono trovata immersa nell'atmosfera di queste incredibili foto della collezione Estate 2012 di Elena Mirò.

Mi vedo bellissima indossando ogni singolo abito, magari durante un weekend con il mio compagno (che non è David Gandy. Purtroppo.). Sono sicura di poter sfoggiare un look sofisticato, elegante e davvero glamour; dal giorno alla notte, in piscina o ad un cocktail party al tramonto.

Mi sento come una dea, una diva come Sophia Loren, avvolta in uno di questi abiti che valorizzano le curve, pronta per i flash dei paparazzi.

Abiti, si, la mia grande passione e la mia prima scelta quando mi vesto e mi voglio sentire splendida. Stampe, colori audaci, fresco cotone e morbide forme.

I sogni (di stile) possono avverarsi, ed Elena Mirò li ha resi reali con questa collezione estiva.
